Workplace Pride Members
Workplace Pride's Members include four categories:
Workplace Members: These include corporations and organizations who take part in the Platform through their LGBT employee networks. Workplace Pride channels the voice of the LGBT community to these companies and organizations who are thereby better equipped to work constructively towards greater LGBT visibility. Likewise, the Members utilize their own spheres of influence: be it their HR policies, their advertising practices, or even the tone they use with the press, the media and governments on LGBT issues to improve the position of LGBT employees. Workplace Members fall into two sub-categoreis:
- A. Those with more than 5,000 employees
- B. Those with less than 5,000 employees
Research: This category is the same as Workplace Members, but with additional benefits focusing on additional roles/sponsorship in Workplace Pride research and/or foundation-building activities. The Research membership category carries higher dues along with the higher benefits, and is determined on an case-by-case basis.
Entrepreneur and Student: Entrepreneur Members represent those LGBT people in working environments who do not necessarily work for businesses, but still want to contribute to the dialogue. Likewise, Student Members represent future workers that bring new topics and perspectives to the table.
Partnership: Workplace Pride strives to work with like-minded non-profit NGO's. Partnership arrangements are on a case by case basis.
